Born and raised a prairie girl from Saskatoon, Kathi began her music career at a very early age. Singing felt as natural as breathing in her earliest memories.  She was in her first band at 11 years old.  At 13 she recorded her first single which received high praise and tremendous response from radio stations across the province, record stores, and media outlets. This began a musical journey that would span over 30 years.

Kathi has played in countless musical groups and venues across the province. Genres include pop, rock, country, reggae and jazz. "There is no better feeling than the rush that comes with connecting with people enjoying your music".

Looking at the world through an introspective lens, Kathi has penned many original tunes that offer a glimpse of what is in her heart and her perspective on human nature.  "It is truly a humbling and awe-inspiring experience being in the studio.  It becomes like an addiction that you want more of.  It's a very vulnerable feeling sharing pieces of your soul with others and knowing it will be judged one way or another.  But there is no feeling like when that original tune is mixed and spun. "
